SOCOM WITH ZOMBIES (After the patch)
It seems that I listened to half of you enthusiasts about the game, so I bought it. I am seriously loving the game. Now, I really see how this thing is so addictive, and I already see myself playing it time and time again to get everything.Graphics: GREAT. Pretty choppy but not in a terrible way, especially when you factor in Hordes of zombies and lickers.Gameplay: Like SOCOM (current gen). You cant crouch, but you can take cover behind low obstacles. Zombie murdering has never been more fun, ESPECIALLY when ragdoll physics send Zombies and other foes slamming into walls and over tables. However, there is a dive that is kind of fun, but I dont know what to do with it. The only bad thing is that when you play online, Head-shots are not AS effective, but they work. and you have an awesome melee moveset which includes pretty cool take-down/human-zombie shield moves.Controls: Be sure to set your controls properly and you cant go wrong. They are pretty fluid. I kind of wish there were some stylish rolls, and maybe some crouching, especially since these guys are Bad-ass.Story: CAMPY. but SERIOUS. FUNNY (even though they don't intend to be). but it is Good. especially for what it sets out to do.Overall: I REALLY WISH that they would focus on this elite squad on other things, letting this game be their last mission. The characters are cool, edgy and could use some character polish, because you care about them, even though you know nothing about them. The guns are awesome, and the Game needs a horde mode, because Wave survival would fit this game.Nutshell: Buy it. Update it. love it. especially at the $15-$20 range. I can see why $60 adopters would be furious, but hey, it is definitely worth $25-$30. I just may buy the DLC.PS. there is no local co-op or splitscreen. this game would have greatly benefit from this.

Overall i give it a 7 out of 10.
CampaignThe Campaign was good but it was also short, playing on professional mode didn't make it a bit longer. Took me about 2-3days to beat the game cause i was playing on professional an a countless number of times of dying on certain parts. If you plan on playing the campaign by yourself i will worn you that the AI for your team is retard. They're either getting in your line of fire or always dying, i'd recommend playing online but if your a boss like me and don't mind playing by yourself with the AI being as bad as it is then have at it.Versus(Multiplayer)Versus mode is pretty good but they could have done a little bit more to make it better. There are sum annoying features on versus such as character abilities. At the character select screen depending if you're USS or SPEC OPS its a race to get Vector/Lupo on the USS side and Dee-Ay/Willow on the Spec ops side. The reason behind this is because Vector on the USS side and Willow on the Spec Ops side have the ability to cloak them self(meaning there invisible) for about 45 seconds, while Lupo/Dee-Ay have the ability to be invincible to bullets for 30 seconds. There abilities and other characters as well have to recharge for a certain about of time when they run out which is a good thing. There are other characters abilities as well depending who you get and they are upgradeable with XP up to Level 3 being the max per ability for each character. I like using Tweed/Beltway(Demolition) cause they have the ability to plant mines and disable mines. As far as game modes go you can choose from Team Attack which is pretty much TDM, Biohard which is a objective base mode where you have to collect 5 G-virus sample before the other team does in order to win, Survivor which involves player to survive until a rescue helicopter comes and only 4 players can enter the helicopter once it lands so make sure you get to the helicopter once its land other wise your screwed, last but not least Heroes. In Heroes you get to select certain Heroes and Villians from Resident Evil 2 and 3. On the Hero side you can choose from Leon, Claire,Jill and Carlos where as on the villain side you can choose from Ada Wong, Hunk, Nicholai Ginovaef, and Lone Wolf. The way this game mode works is the first team to eliminate all heroes from the opposing team wins. Since your a hero your health doubled then what it normally is in other game modes so it take longer to kill each other.Final ThoughIf you are looking to buy this game i would not recommend buying it at the full retail price of 59.99, I'd wait for like a good deal like 40.00 bucks or so but i do recommend this game to anyone who is interest in the game or simply loves Resident Evil. When this game was first announced back in beginning of 2011 i didn't think this game would be any good simply because Slant Six was making it and there track record with the god awful Socom Confrontation. After seeing actual gameplay around the time of E3 2011 i changed my whole opinion about this game and decided to give it a chance. When i finally got a chance to play it i was simply impressed of what Slant Six was able to come with. They could of came up with a little bit more but fail short on that. The graphix are pretty solid and sum what well polished were as the aim is good as long as you take of the auto aim/aim assist. I did find the L2(PS3) or LT(xbox360) to switch weapons kinda of annoying and it at time it wasn't very responsive with that being said overall i give this game a 7/10.

i like it
When i heard that this game is going to suck from a preview, i chose to go with the game anyway to see for myself and i'm glad i did. I think its a pretty fun game. Its not game of the year but its still fun. You still get to run through raccoon city and shot zombies. The downsides i find with this game like in the other review on here was the firepower. It takes a lot to kill just one spec op guy even if your shooting him in the head. I would think thats something to fix. The other thing is the story line, its a decent but not much in depth. I also agree with the AI sucks but not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Sometimes those guys save my butt so i cant really complain to much. I think the review IGN was pretty harsh, i would have given it a 6.0 instead of 4.0. Its not that bad. The reason i'm giving it 5 stars on here because people are making it sound bad and its really not. So if your expecting the same gameplay as the old resident evil games, then you will be dissappointed. Its definately a shooter game. Which is pretty cool but they should have hired a company that makes good shooter games like rainbow 6 vegas. If you are unsure to get this game i would atleast rent this game before you buy it, so your not wasting your money if you are disappointed. But i really like it. The campaign mulitplayer is pretty fun too and the game breaks back memories from re2.
