There are so many of these Fiat/Abarth 500/595 door handle hinge replacements out there. This one is mid priced at approximately £11. It appears to be well made, and easy to fit. Delivered quickly. A smear of grease on the hinge will extend its life.

Worked perfectly

The component fit perfectly and is like for like, which is why only rated 4 stars as it isn’t improved over the original.It uses the same cast alloy as the original, which will result in at some point it failing again assuming the alloy is equivalent quality and not cheaper. It is a shame it wasn’t more expensive made from a machined or solid metal piece to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.It is great that this piece is available so that you don’t have to replace the whole handle.Be warned getting the driver’s door handle out is an absolute nightmare and take a lot of effort to remove but this does the job once it is out. Recommend watching some videos and if you see one that it appeared the handle came straight out, it doesn’t and took me a good 20+ minutes to remove.Also get some masking tape to put around the paintwork where this component goes to prevent scratches when reinstalling the handle, although for me handle went straight back in with no effort.

Well made direct replacement for the original. Took 30 mins to replace once I had studied YouTube videos of how to take the handle off.

Replaced broken handle hinge on daughters car now works great did a little research on u tube and found a easy way to replace better if some one helps as one part is a little tricky.

I didn’t think it fitted on the door panel that well once fitted in to the handle compared to the n/s door. Initially used the original self tapping screw but found it better with the screw supplied with the kit. That said it worked as a repair. Also the hinge pin in the replacement just fell out so be careful not to loose it!

The media could not be loaded. Does exactly what you need , the only thing was the small side of the hinge needed a little bit of filing down as it was thicker than the original .

Ricambio perfettamente compatibile con Alfa Romeo 147 seconda serie. Consiglio solo di utilizzare la vite originale, in quanto più lunga rispetto a quella presente nel kit. Il montaggio richiede un po' di manualità ma nulla di complicato.

Das Scharnier sieht optisch aus wie das Original und passt. Der Griff hat nun etwa einen halben mm Abstand. Vermutlich eine Formabweichung. Ist nun halt so. Mit etwas gefummel, kann man es auch ohne Ausbau der Schlosseinheit montieren. Da die Achse erst durch den Einbau fixiert wird, rutscht sie beim Einbau häufig raus. Zwei dosierte Hammerschläge auf die Achs- Stirnseiten (mit Gefühl) helfen.Entgegen der Beschreibung ist das Bauteil natürlich nicht aus Edelstahl. Es ist, wie das Originalteil auch, aus Druckaluminium. Ich würde es wieder kaufen.
