I got these to use in a specific place to light up some art. The lights are bright, look real easy to set up, and are nice. The drawback is that the range of aim on them is very limited due to how the gimbal is made. You can point them at a more than maybe 30 degrees off straight down.

When I ordered these I had hopes that they were just what I needed to light a small area in my pop up fishing sled. They turned out perfect! They are adjustable in their mount for direction. The mount is made of metal and very durable. The light itself is quality and with the adjustable dimmer switch was just what I needed to light our fishing rod tips in the darkness. They have a nice long amount of wire leading to a nice connector box leading to the dimmer switch. Nice flexibility with this product and I would buy again!!!

These lights are awesome! I am using them to highlight Christmas decorations indoors. The provide good illumination and the optional, included dimmer works well.I bought the "warm white" variation but they are more like what is sometimes called "bright white", which was perfect for my application. Bright white is the happy color in between the yellowish warm white and the bluish daylight. In other words they are not as yellow as an incandescent and I am guessing closer to 3500K.My only complaint is the power wire comes right out of the bottom of the light and there is no groove where the wire could sit if you want to surface mount these. It also prevents these from freestanding on their own since the wire keeps tilting them. Clearly they were meant to be attached through a ceiling or wall or on a track. It would have been nice to have a way to make the wire exit the side so you would have a choice. I plan to make a detachable base to solve this issue.

I just moved and my new house happens to have a pretty sweet office. I decided to set up some museum displays of some fossils and cultural materials that I own. I ordered these lights to give them a whirl. Wow! They are great! I have two of them in a roughly 24" x 18" shelf lighting up some fossils and the display looks great! The setup was a breeze and the package even comes with little mounting screws, too. You just need to find a way to keep the wires neat. I bought the six pack and still have not yet set up the other four lights, but I can't wait to have some free time to do so. Highly recommend!

I have these for my retail booth at an antique shop where I bought them to highlight bookshelves in the back wall. I haven’t set them up there yet. But I used them in my home on another display and they are super easy install Dimmer is a plus. glad I chose the warm white.I plan to buy more sets for my shop

I used it for a museum-like quality display collector’s piece. The light is exactly what it is, and does exactly what it does.The cold white light is really bright at its maximum, and adds a nice soft glow at its dimmest.Can be used for anything and everything and is versatile and small enough to fit nearly anywhere.The wiring is designed to go through the base, so some ingenuity is required to hide the wires.

So yeah they're 35$, but for what I was looking for, they are a LOT cheaper than "dollhouse/ miniature" specialty lighting. The color temperature (warm for this set) is perfect. A nice white-yellow light (think 40 watt incandescent bulbs) from these little LED powerhouses. They can get quite bright. I hope the dimmer holds out but even if it dies, you can bypass the dimmer altogether in seconds. The "lenses" are removable also (because these are "spotlights" if one were to sand the lens it could be made a floodlight instead). The focus on these (or "hotspot") is nice for this particular lamp I'm building so I'm leaving the lenses as-is. They don't get hot at all at medium brightness. (Haven't run the at max for hours as I haven't needed them to be that bright). I would definitely buy these again.

I bought these lights to do an upright wall wash effect on a brick wall inside my living room. These little lights definitely deliver. They are smaller than I expected, size wise they are about the size of a AA battery but only half that length so they conceal easily. The light they produce is bright and concentrated. These are a great option for accent lighting where small form factor is important.
