Fortessa Aztec Series Contemporary Design Door Lever/Door Handle (Privacy Lock, Oil Rubbed Bronze)

the quality control wasn't good out of 10 handles, two were defective. one so bad that the spring wasn't working inside and the door handle literally had to be ripped off my door with metal cutter damaging the paint on the new door. that being said, the ones that do work are crazy pretty and work great. unbelievably low price -i kind of see why now.

Beautiful and composed of 99.9% good quality metal. It’s proper function rests upon that 1% which is a tiny rubber washer. Once this washer wears out you’ll be locked in or out. No notice, no warning the door just will not open. I gave it two stars for the looks, cost and strength of the product. I outfitted my entire house with these handles. I’m on the hunt for a suitable replacement for the washer.

the price is very good but the quality leaves something to be desired. i did a house with these and have had 2 sets break apart within 1 month of installation. i guess you get waht you pay for

I can NOT believe what amazing QUALITY these are! They look like and weigh like they should cost ten times the amount they do! I am buying a LOT more of these!

Nice product but the the latch to not have the feature to adjust it to extend to fit is crazy.....so now I have to but I whole new latch that fits beyond 2-3/8".......FORTESSA.....for you to make such good products you are falling short to not be able to adjust a latch.....epic fail

Hi quality door handle with locking mechanism/pin that's easily swapped between left and right opening doors. Beautiful finish, great fit. Not something I'd consider praising otherwise -- I mean, it's just a door handle -- but it's a really nice product.

The quality s impressive, I had a problem with this, the privacy lever is not reversible, if the washroom door open outward the the privacy lever sitting out instead of inside a washroom. please advise.

I bought 4 of these for my 2 sets of dual glass front doors. The handles are gorgeous. The quality is very high - much higher than the common standard Weiser or Schlage handles you find everywhere. Those other handles are light and the handle always feels "loose" (there is play in the handle if you jiggle it up and down), whereas these are very solid, and have a high quality "heft" to them. The only reason I'm removing one star is because the latch is only one size, 2 3/8". My doors all needed 2 3/4" latches. Every other handle I have ever bought came with a latch that was adjustable. This one is not. And it's not universal, so other latches don't work either. I had to buy the right latches from the same manufacturer (at $12 a pop) just to use these handles. That should have been included for free, or they should have an adjustable one like everyone else. The manufacturer also ignored my email when I attempted to contact them. I'm still happy with the purchase, but people should be aware of this issue.
