This is great, compact, and our dog loves it. She has swam in the lake and pool with this on. Highly recommend this!

Fits our sheepdog well but it flooded here in our river vacation so sadly we did not get to try it out

There is absolutely no possible way my puppy would survive drowning w this vest on.He a larger breed that needs more. Plus I'd not trust anything when you would have to blow up an insertion pillow,than tuck into vest.One bite,or anything that would pierce this vest whilst being on your animal while in the water. The animal would die from drowning. I watched my dog go straight down the deep end of the pool. Dove in to save him.Ridiculous for everyday swim training. I'm surprised this had reviews.In good conscience, I'd had to write this review.Perhaps would work w web footed dogs. But,I'd not risk it on any pet.This was truly unbelievable by everyone who's seen the vest.Sending back.

The media could not be loaded. I loved the life jacket! It’s very easy to put on and adjust even once it’s wet and sandy. My favorite thing is the handle on the back. It’s easy to pick her up by it and help her get out of the pool etc. I can imagine it will be super handy when I take her paddle boarding as well. It seems to fit her body well and doesn’t bother her at all or limit movement for running. I was able to take it off easily too to reinflate it because I had forgotten to fill it up completely before we went to the lake. I’m really glad I have it for her to give me peace of mind and find her easily w the bright color etc. I will definitely get a lot of use out of it!

I got size L for my 6 month old bernedoodle. Lots of room for him to grow into it. I like how it has the removable floating device inside and it can fold up small for camping or hiking if needed. I wonder what happens if it pops or gets a hole though? It is very comfortable for my dog, and I like how it has a place to attach a leash (doubles as a harness and life jacket for lake days).

He refused to wear a jacket of any type and would just freeze in place until we gave up.After to many near drownings, I spazzed and chose this one because it was reflective and the floaty insert comes out.He is a medium dog, but we bought a large because of his big chest. It fits him with enough room that we probably should have went with a medium.Initially we had him wear the jacket without the floaty and then took him to the lake.It floats perfectly! You can blow up the insert without taking it out of the jacket, but is on the inside once the dog wears it.The body is a wrap design (velcro) with 2 belt buckles. The wrap makes it so the buckles and belt does not irritate his under belly.My dog is not an easy one to adapt to new things. We are thrilled with this lifejacket.
