I bought my first seatbelt belt a few years ago, in person at a store, and it was genuine seatbelt polyester. Still own it, still love it, but I needed one in black for work and bought this one off Amazon. The description very clearly states 100% polyester, but the one I received was nylon(like the straps of a backpack.) That said, this IS a great belt. No unsightly holes, no need to punch new holes to adjust the fit, no excess that hangs out or needs to be minded, no nonsense. You click it in, you click it out, and it fits very flush to the body. Need to adjust it? Just slide the clasp as needed. Superior to conventional belts in every way(unless a dress belt is needed), and if you buy one you'll never go back to a conventional belt. Just be aware that the one you receive may not be the stated material.

My husband had been looking for a seatbelt belt for a while and I got this for his birthday. He LOVES it and is so happy to have one again!

I bought this belt after getting my wife and daughter print ones from this company and we were very happy with them. But when this one came it wasn't made of seatbelt material.... The buckle is right but the belt material itself is low quality nylon webbing that's rough to the touch and not at all like what I have come to expect from Buckle Down for quality.... Wish I would've known that the basic black wasn't the right material because I might have made a different choice for a work belt that I have to wear everyday.

Bought this for my husband. He loves that he doesn't have to struggle with the buckle. Good quality and the buckle stays closed. He is already wanting more.

Size was totally wrong for my waist, small, tight. Wasn't worth buying.
