Great Power Supply and Awesome Service
I bought the Corsair HX750i power supply after my the original Corsair CMPSU-750HX failed. My computer was down and I needed a quality power supply asap. I ordered the power supply using Amazon Prime's fastest delivery available hoping Amazon would ship earlier as they have done in the past. They did ship early by 4 days. Needless to say I was happy to have the new power supply and so I could have my computer running again. Thanks Amazon. I bought Corsair originally because it was on of the vendors on the QVL for my ASUS motherboard and they are know for high quality power supplies. The USB interface which comes on the "i" models is nice to monitor Temp, Power In, Power Out, 12V, 5V and 3.3V rails and calculates efficiency. It came with every cable needed even the cable to connect the USB port internally. You will need an available the 10-1 USB connector on your motherboard.

Excellent PSU
Excellent PSU made by seasonic. Read reviews around the web and you'll see the HX Platinum PSUs have low noise and ripple and deliver their rated power at 90% or better efficiency. I like the modular cable design and the very quiet operation. The Corsair Link software available from Corsairs website for free download is interesting but not a must have. It is interesting that the SW detects the other fans and temperature sensors ie on the mobo, GPU and even the SSD. It does allow to drag and drop labels on a generic PC case to visualize heat transfer in the case and it has graphing and logging functions. It also allows you to set fan profiles for the PSU.My build is:Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor 11W - 88WThermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme 99.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler 10W - 15WAsus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard 17W - 70WCorsair Vengeance Pro 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory 36W - 36WSamsung 850 Pro Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Drive 1W - 5WMSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card 36W - 145WTotal: 111W - 359WAt minimum power the SW shows my rig at 80% efficiency. I chose the 750 for OC and future SLI while still keeping around 33% margin. As is, the rig hits 90% efficiency while playing graphics intensive games. A quality product, highly recommended.

Great value.
I was really hesitant to give this 5 stars actually. Setup is as easy as you'd expect and it was obviously chosen for my build's wattage so there's no problem there. The issue I have is with the cables themselves and the limited information in the manual. The cables: This is highly dependent on your build. This unit comes with many cables, but all of them have soooo mannyy connectorssss. Like I said, most probably like this for versatility, but it is a nightmare for someone with a more streamlined build. Each sata power connector had 4 connectors, this can be said about pretty much every cable. And I only have 1 GPU, but all the PCI power cables have 2x 6+2 connectors, so if you have a window, guess what you'll be looking at? Yeah, ugly. The manual: This pertains only to the "i" model. It has the data plug and the usb cable for data. Both plug directly into the psu, one above the other. The manual mentions the existence of both, but does not explain where both go, only the usb cable. I'm not exactly sure if I am missing out on anything...just makes me uneasy that I didn't plug both in.

GREAT SUPPORT SERVICE
This is a quiet, efficient power supply that comes with a great set of modular cables (and a very nice storage bag). Unfortunately it failed after about 6 months of use in my new gaming PC build. Power supplies are notorious for either running forever or failing early so I was disappointed but not surprised. I bought a Corsair CX850M (an extra 100 watts should not have mattered in my build, I'm pretty experienced at PC / IT stuff) to ensure I knew what the problem was and to use as a replacement. The CX850M is working like a champ BTW, but that's not my story...My surprise was the superb support service I got from Corsair and the ease of creating a ticket, getting RMA approval and getting a brand new HX750i power supply (with another set of cables) as a replacement! I used a number of Corsair products in my new build (a great case, and their Vengeance RAM and after this support experience I will continue to do so.

Very Solid and Reliable Hardrive, with Fand & Temp Monitoring Available.
This is a great PSU. I haven't had any issues and its plenty powerful to handle my hold setup. It runs quiet and cool. Even when my system is at full load and handling extreme graphics from gaming, the fan has never had to turn on (Which also could be in part from the 3 intake and 3 exhaust fans). I also love the fact this PSU has the ability to connect directly to the motherboard so you can use Corsairs Link software to monitor fan speeds and temps for your different pieces of hardware. For me, its currently monitoring the temps of my hardrives, PSU, GPU, motherboard, and all 6 cores of my CPU. Then it lets me see the fan RPMs of the fans connected to motherboard, GPU, and PSU. I have been extremely happy with this product, even if I may be a little biased against all others since I never buy any other PSU brand but Corsair, ever since I first bought one many years ago.

Its older
Why did I give it 4 stars instead of 5?Its an older product. And the branding and its release puts its production between q3 2014 and q2 2015. So its deffinetly not the newest product. But why do I need to mention that? there could be problems but showing that the unit was in great condition I opened it there isnt likley, and the case badge (which is like 1.3x a intel one) has the older logo and may not suit well.if your looking for a nice plat cert PSU but dont want to go AXI get this one. Corsair link and icue are amazing programs which in my mind is worth the price
