Actually, it’s common for nylon strings since they are new and haven’t adapted to the stretching of tension. Therefore, it’s a little difficult for a new ukulele to hold its tune at the beginning. Please don’t worry, here are concrete steps for you to settle down a new ukulele. Step 1, tune each string as close to pitch as possible. Starting from top to bottom, finally the order of notes should respectively be GCEA. Step 2, pull along the entire string carefully with two hands. Also be careful not to pull too hard on each string while stretching to avoid damage. Step 3 , repeat the previous process of tuning and stretching until each string stays in tune gradually. Step 4, play your ukulele as frequently as possible. It may take a few days or even few weeks before they settle down. Please be patient, since once that happens, you could play your ukulele at any time! Note: To protect the strings from damage during shipping, all of them are in loose state. Please be patient to tune it before playing.

WAY Better Uke Than it Should Be for this Price
Just wanted a cheap water proof uke to leave at school and take outdoors. This thing WAY exceeded my expectations. It's not as nice as my Oscar Schmidt's, but it's way too close for 30 bucks. Especially impressed with how close the intonation is with molded plastic fret "wires." Doubt they spend much to make them, but somebody did some good engineering on the design side. The strings are cheap as some reviews have noted, but they're real strings and settle into tuning about as quickly as one expects cheap uke strings to settle. But since the difference between cheap uke strings and expensive uke strings is less than five bucks, it's a pretty easy fix--and not one you'll need to do right away. These are certainly playable right out of the box.

Wonderful instrument!!!
Finally I got it today! This is a great ukulele more than I expect. The one I bought is concert size which fit for girls, jet black color, it doesn’t look gloomy. Considering ukulele are notorious for needing constant tuning, but with the tuning app you can solve the problem totally. And the quality of this ukulele is quite good though, the price worth itself, I have no complaints. This is a fantastic ukulele to get started on for the beginners like me, cannot wait to play a song!

Better than expected!
Wow, this is a great ukulele for $30.00! I only bought it to keep in my car and play around with eventually, without having to worry about a wooden one. I watched reviews on YouTube and found out about this one and I’m really impressed with how this ukulele plays and sounds for the price.I was about to buy the waterman but this is half the price and had strap buttons so I switched to this one. I just got it today and am still tuning it so I do not know if it will melt in my car yet though.I have many other ukuleles now and I really just wanted a cheap plastic one that I wouldn’t care if it got damaged in a hot car. It was a thin almost tinny... I guess plasticy? Sound that my wooden ones don’t have so I like it’s uniqueness. The no name plastic strings are Aquila like and are fine so far. I may change the strings in the future though. I don’t really like Aquila strings though anymore I now use worthers and dadario though.Anyways if this was my first ukulele I would’ve still fell in love with Ukes, buy it! :)

Best Plastic Concert Uke!
I teach music in the time of Covid so I've been in search of plastic ukes that could be easily sanitized. This concert 23" uke is best of the "cheap" plastic ukuleles I've bought! I have 4 of this particular brand/model. A few things that make this one better than others:- it has strap buttons like a guitar AND includes a strap!- the strings are lighter than some of the others and have a nice sound once tuned (they do stretch so it may take a little time to get it to stay in tune)- metal (mostly metal) tuners- the frets are painted and easily seen vs other brands that are black like the neck- the body is a little wider than some of the othersThere are other higher quality plastic ukes out there with a little higher price tag but if you are looking to save some money, this one will do a good job.

Solid Ukelele for travel or kids
Bought this for my 3.5yo toddler. He loves it, and I love the sturdy plastic body. Most plastic ukelele sound terrible, twangy, or just quiet. This little ukelele actually has a decent sound so we use it for both our son to learn and when we travel as a lightweight, easily packed, durable instrument. It also came with an extra set of strings which was an unexpected bonus**We bought a $10 HOT SEAL Waterproof case to go with it - has a small pouch for the extra bits.Highly recommend

Very cute
I bought these for my 5 year old and 2 year old. They really have enjoyed playing with these, especially my 2 year old. It's a perfect fit for him because he looks like he's playing a guitar. The strings to have be tightened frequently, but overall we are happy with the product

Fun to play kids and adults
I bought these for my 2 year old son as an introduction to uke. My husband also enjoyed it. I got the smaller version and it fits perfectly for toddlers, although adult can play too. One down side is that strings need to be tightened frequently, other than that great value for money.
