good.
good enough , this is the second one i've bought , they could go flat a little later but they are very wide so they cover a good bit of the table.

Exactly what I needed!
This is so perfect. Very cushy, and lets me work at my desk without my forearms digging into the dang desk and hurting. My arms thank you!!!

Could be better.
I typically lean on my left elbow when working at my computer and I thought this would be just the ticket to cushion it. Worked well for the first couple of months but now the padding inside has compressed to the point that its just some felt cloth between my arm and the desktop.

Versatile and helpful in reducing wrist pain
For the reviews that talk about how big this is, that's why they give you the dimensions.I use this in 3 ways. Note that I have a keyboard with a number pad, plus a mouse, and I use that set up with desktop monitor and/or laptop.1. Desk set up with keyboard tray. This mat is wide enough to cover my entire adjustable keyboard tray. I place the mat lapping over the edge closest to me, place the keyboard on top, place my mousepad on top to the right of the keyboard, then the mouse on the mousepad. That gives me a padded comfy surface for extended typing with intermittent mouse use.2. Table top. Sometimes you have to work at a table. In this scenario, I place the mat overlapping the edge of the table closest to me, then position the keyboard, mousepad and mouse as described above. Then I place the laptop on the table on the opposite side of the mat. Last adjustment is to the chair height (if adjustable, or add a cushion/pillow if needed) so that wrists remain in neutral position.3. Travel/small table. Essentially the same set up as table top, with the addition of a box under the laptop to raise it up, which then allows me to bring the laptop closer. Is it worth setting all that up? Yes. If you have carpal tunnel or other repetitive motion injuries/pain, it helps a lot. If I am going to be doing less than 5 minutes of work on the laptop while on the road, then I might use just the laptop with the mat in front of it to protect the heels of my hands, but for anything longer, I drag out all the pieces. I've ordered a second mat to keep in my travel bag.

Perfect on cold quartz desk
My kitchen desk is quartz, like the rest of my countertops. I am constantly cold in the winter months from contact with its freezing surface. This pad is the ideal answer, shielding me from the chilly quartz and providing a comfort zone for elbows and forearms. The pad is just like a small memory foam bath mat. Perfect. It would be nice to have it in other colors?
