- ‘Hameln’ is almost identical to P. alopecuroides, but is a bit more compact, blooms a little earlier beginning in July, and is shorter in height at 18-24" tall. Its tassels emerge rosy and turn a coppery tan. Keep in mind that all the Fountain Grasses are tuft or mound-growers, so they are not invasive. Plant 24–30” apart
- When received, the plant will be in seasonal condition with appropriate foliage. If shipped between November 1st and March 1st, the plant may be dormant and trimmed. Plant is fully rooted in the pot ready for immediate planting

Packaged well; healthy plants
Received four of these grasses today. Photo is exactly how they looked out of the box. Packaged tightly and soil was lightly wet when received. Will plant this week, but they are green and healthy upon receipt and look like I'd expect if I had bought directly from a nursery.

Plant has not grown since received,
I think there’s something wrong with this plant. This is how it looked when I unboxed it. And it’s been in the ground for about three weeks. And it looks the same. It hasn’t sprouted any new green leaves. Seller says they cannot replace it but I can’t figure out why.

Beware of a purchase you cannot see
I purchased 3 perennial fountain grass and one is not doing well. It didn't look good when I opened the package. They will not replace it. I should have purchased at Home Depot they would have gladly exchanged it.
