Excellent product of high quality, it does what it says it does. Make sure use it as intended. Only wish the product had been available in the US instead of ordering via Amazon UK neverthe less it cam fast.

Broke a coolant bolt head while installing headers. Brought it to a mechanic who basically told me tough luck, stating the head had to be removed, lmao. Took my car as far away as possible from that mechanic and extracted the bolt with this tool 20 minutes tops. Well worth the price, wished they sold the smaller extractor in the States. Great alternative if you don't have a welder or can't safely fit a welder in a confined space

Could not believe how well they work

Snapped off a 6mm stud on the side of an engine casing... tried everything with no success. Bought the larger version of another brand that was supposed to go down to 6mm but it was too big. Ended up returning that and bought this pair as I couldn’t find the small one on its own. International shipping was very fast, small extractor was awesome and worked first time. Very worthwhile.

Package came ripped apart and open, and item damaged. The mailing box was fine, but the original item package was destroyed with product damaged.

Was not able to pull out a broken stud, the inside broke

These grip broken studs or bolts very well - useful if you fix your own vehicle.The 2 downsides I found out is that:1) They are a bit chunky and might not fit into a small area.2) They have a maximum torque rating - exceed this and their jaws can break.But if the alternatives are welding a nut onto the broken stud (or giving it to someone else to finish), Id risk breaking them just to get the job done.

Great tools do exactly what they meant to

My hubby bought this tool to remove a broken stud bolt that screws into the end of a driveshaft. The nut head had sheared off of the stud leaving only 5mm of the thread left protruding. The Laser stud removal tool inserted into the wheel hub aperture so space was very limited, once it was tightened up by turning anti-clockwise, the 3 hardened vice grips locked onto the stud thread. He was really impressed at how easy the 40mm stud came out, considering it had thread locker on the stud. The tool is clearly a well made product and proved itself.
