Perfect for steaks!!!
If you haven't tried to use Sous Vide to cook your temperature picky items like filet or fish, you are missing out if you don't have this device.It's as simple as plugging in, adding water, setting timer and walking away until you are ready to eat as the food can't overcook. It's extremely well made, packed with the basic features to control your temperature and time and a friendly alarm to let you know it's started and when it's finished.After reaching your desired temp with a grill able item, you can use a torch or throw it on a high temp grill to sear your steaks then bon appetit!!This method takes a little longer to cook but you won't be disappointed!!

Faulty product
I got this for my dad for Father’s Day. It worked great the first time, but when he tried to use it a second time it didn’t work

Great until it died
Worked great...a dozen times. After that it stopped working. This thing made awesome cuts of meat, eggs, dulce de leche sauce, until it bought the farm. Or I should say I bought the farm cause I had to foo the bill for having it work for 4 months and then dying so I'm left with a piece of trash, a container of dirty water and broken dreams.Thanks pop-up chinese company selling trash on amazon, you ruined my dinner.

Easy to use
It looks really impressive. I can tell it’s high quality, and I like it.Easy to use. The book that comes with the machine has fantastic recipes. Very quiet while operating.

Accurate temp control. Easy to use. Super low noise.
The temperature control is very accurate. There is only 0.5F different. The cooker is very quite. I can barely hear the noise. I like it because I won’t forget to turn off the stove.

have an anova buy wanted another one and was not thinking in spending 100.00+ . bought this for much lessand so far so good .happy with the product .

New way to cook
The shefs form a cooking school recommended Sous Vide cooking for filet de canard which is my favorite. I haven't tried it yet but with chicken breast this worked really well and the chicken was so soft and juicy. Very easy to use and quiet while operating.
