It works once you find a compatible app
I purchased an older type obd before this one that wouldn’t work with iOS. So I specifically searched for one that would be compatible with my iPhone, which led me to purchase this one. Then I initially had trouble using this new one, as the apps I was using wouldn’t detect it. Finally I found an app (Car Scanner) that worked and was able to use it without further issue. I would have given 5 stars if it worked with most apps. There are probably better devices out there that work across all apps, however this one is functional and does what it’s supposed to (after finding a compatible app).

Fake reviews!
Look at the pictures in the positive reviews: Not this device! My car couldn't see it, My iPhone (latest IOS) Couldn't see it. BlueDriver app saw it once and said it is not compatible. Then couldn't see it. In Questions they say it has bluetooth 4 one place, and that it doesn't work with bluetooth in another answer. Fakespot.com grades it D. Always check Fakespot. I didn't this time. Wish I had. Someone who knows how should tell Amazon they are using reviews from completely different devices.
