Great for arthritic hands
I've been having a lot of pain and stiffness in my hands due to arthritis, so I decided I needed some kind of hand exerciser. This set is great! One soft tennis ball-like just fits my hand. Then there are 3 rings and three flexible eggs of varying firmness. The rings are stiffer than the eggs or ball so you really get a good variety and at a good price. I can absent mindedly exercise my hands while watching TV. My hands are already less swollen, less painful and more flexible. Highly recommend this set.

Great set to strengthen hands for martial arts
Hands hurt a lot because of martial arts training. I got these to use at work to so I can hold my own sparring in class. My colleagues visit my cubicle regularly just to get their turn, especially on stressful days. And those I train with have inquired about this set, finding it fits well in most everybody's hand and they've been tested by over 20 people in just the few months I've had them. Well-worthy of the investment.

Excellent for stress relief
I ordered these to help my 8yo daughter when she's feeling anxious or overwhelmed, something that can cause challenges while she's at school. She loves the variety and finds them to be very helpful. The selection is excellent and they appear to be high quality. I do not think these will burst open (as they don't seem to have liquid inside) like the last one we got her. They are rubbery and, aside from the cloth covered one, have a pleasant pebbly texture. We highly recommend them for stress management

Good therapy after hand surgery
I had trigger-release surgery (open) on each digit and thumb so I have a rather large incision area. As part of my therapy, it was recommended that I use a soft therapy ball. I just started my therapy about a week ago and these squeeze balls have helped with that therapy.PROS: - I like that the set includes soft, medium, and hard balls. (SOFT: covered ball, green ball and green egg. MEDIUM: red ball and egg.HARD: blue ball (not covered) and egg.- The balls/eggs have a non-sticky surface so no need to powder the ball like some manufacturers suggest.- Set includes 1 covered soft squeeze ball, which helps with variety.- I like that the set includes squeeze balls and eggs for various hand and fingers exercises.- The balls arrived packed in a little tray (clear) which I use to store the balls when not in use. Very convenient! (See picture. Tray is actually clear and is on a black desk)CONS:- NO exercise pamphlet, diagram, or instructions included other than what is printed on the box, which isn't much! (See picture) Yes, it is easy enough to figure out how to squeeze a ball (hahaha!) as well as look online for suggestions, but it would be nice to have that included.- The balls are a bit smaller than I'd like (female) and my husband and son find them particularly small.- For my needs, the covered ball has proven to be mildly annoying. There is no way to position the ball where a seam does not hit my incisions. I realize that this will not be a con for everyone, but feel it is appropriate to mention.- The balls are not perfectly round, particularly the green (soft) one. It has a couple of flat areas. Since it is a squeeze ball, this isn't a huge issue but one does expect a ball to be round. ;-)Overall, I like this set and recommend it.

The eggs are a nice small size the Balls were on the bigger size and I have a smaller set bought previously. Good quality balls.
Arrived just fine. I watched Youtube videos for uses & better instructions than are included & so have a routine down now. The round balls are quite big but eggs are perfect smaller size. Seller could make it clearer what sizes they are. I have a small but similar set of rounds already but wanted several sets around the house & these are definitely better grades of firmness between the levels. I would recommend.I mention for me the smaller egg's are prefect. I use them not only for hands but for feet too and so the larger balls are well suited for the foot.For folks interested in how they work beyon just strength training some answers are in Sue Hitzman's MELT technique that she attempts to explain with explainations of Fascia and the complete Fascia system and links within the body. I have not found a lot of differences in using the different firmness levels but usually just go with the least firm for both hands and feet. I suggest folks pick up a copy of her MELT technique book from public libraries or buy as I did used. I got a copy that was like brandnew for 5 here on Amazon. Check Ebay for used books though sometimes they have better ones. The 5 included shipping charges. The book on the whole is quite boring and you can pretty much skip right through to around pg 188 and then scim pages for the actual techniques or excerises on how to use the balls and what they may or may not do for you. As much as I appreciate her and other authors sharing their insights I HATE reading redundant self praise. Not sure if this is created by the authors themselves or if some book publishers seem to think they need to do a lot of filler pages to plump up the book. Instead I would perfer a chart or even a flip book where each page has a different routine or excerise shown that you can use. These authors of these types of books are missing out by not inventing something like that. I however have computer and simple old fashion Power Point or even more sophisticated graphic programs let me develop my own personal charts/flip books. Some books are well enough done you can copy paste the photos or drawings directly into Power Point and arrange then in order those you want to run through. Enough about figuring out how to use the balls more than just basic squeeze and release gripping. Youtube is a very good source of how too's. Leaving a ball or two in various places around the house is helpful for you to use them daily at least once. For me personally that's at my computer, side table in reading/TV chair, bedside table and in summer outdoors on back patio couch/chair area. The outside ones are also my portable grab and go balls for taking camping too or road trips. I've even taken them on train trips. Size is realtive to your personal need or use and what feels good to you. I have small hands thus prefer the smaller sizes. I have never tried the ring option sold here so can't say much about those. I do not follow Sue H's book exactly. I do not bother with assessing and re-assessing or in other words obessing with daily use. I don't even do the routines in the order she insists they are done and I've added others picked up from youtube videos too. But assement routines are good for folks learning to use them I suppose and she stresses it's value so maybe for some it's more important but for me it's an annoyance and time costing step or two.
