Kichler Ridley II 52" Ceiling Fan and Light Kit in Natural Brass, 3-Blade LED Ceiling Fan in Cherry Finish, 3000K, (52" W x 14.5" H), 300027NBR

This fan is absolutely beautiful. The wood blades are real and the body is a nice brushed brass finish. The fan was installed by a pro, so I can't comment on how easy it was but it did not take him long. However, I did read through the instructions and they are very well laid out and easy to follow. If you've installed a ceiling fan before, this won't be an issue. The fan does come with a wall switch since it is not a remote function fan, but we chose to use our Lutron Maestro fan/light control and it works just fine. The light kit is optional and you can replace it with the included cap, but the light is actually quite nice. It is a soft temperature at 3000k and is probably the equivalent of a 60-75 watt bulb. It wouldn't be great as the only light source in your room, but it gives off enough light for me.The best part about the fan is that it is completely silent at all speeds. There is no motor hum or noise or anything and that was most important. This is not a cheap fan and definitely on the higher end of the price spectrum, but Kichler is a long standing brand and their products are well made. This is no exception and I highly recommend it.

The LED light attachment is attractive, but when you look directly at the light or you are scanning the room you will notice stuttering and post flash of lights when you blink your eyes. It's the old technology LED's. It's not very comfortable on the eyes. Hard to explain.

There is no remote control... there is a wall panel. It's not worth the price.

The product is misleading the materials are cheap it’s not brass it doesn’t shine like the picture. It’s not worth the price AT ALL. I would send it back but I wasn’t home to see it before it was installed. I hate it! Very cheap!
