Be aware of the low price, may come back to haunt you.
Just for the record I initially liked the spray gun. I was really impressed with the quality of the gun for the price.I sprayed some catalyzed lacquer on my cabinets and the finish was amazing. I sprayed a whole gallon with no issues. I ended up plugging the gun (my fault) with Teflon and was unable to get the gun apart before the lacquer set up inside. Instead of cleaning, I thought, wow this gun is cheap enough and I like it so I will just purchase another. The second gun that I got I was having the same results as the first spraying a 5' round maple top for a customer. First hopper went of clean and well and I was able to get a complete coat. Waited my 45 minutes, went for a sand and began to spray the second coat. I got about half way through this hopper and noticed a red flake spray out. I thought well, I will just pick it out and continue. Continued to spray and noticed erratic feed. Then, about a dozen red flakes come out of the gun. I stopped spraying and started inspecting the piece, they were EVERYWHERE!!!!!I cleaned the gun and started inspecting what was causing the issue. Apparently when they built the gun they must have dipped the entire gun in the red paint it is coated with. It was in threads and small cavities inside the gun. I attempted to clean the paint from the inside (2 hours worth of work, small brushed, dremel, etc. ) and got most of it out.So far I have spent about 10 hours trying to get the bottom of this table coated including stripping and resanding twice! (5) 3 x 21" belts and 5 orbital sanding pads, 1/3 gallon finish, electricity, and my temper. I could have bought a really nice gun with the time and money I have lost already and been money ahead. Wish it wouldn't have happened. To me this was a very expensive gun.

Not bad, but quality is commensurate with the price...
The other reviews seem to think this is a "ZOMG HOW IS IT SO CHEAP?!" product. My experience is that this is exactly worth the price you pay. It's a cheap made-in-china spray gun that will work one or two times, then you'll throw it away. Seems to spray decently. Cheaply built - stamped metal and pot metal construction. The nut to hold the cup upright can't be tightened enough to keep the cup in place, so you'll need to use two hands. The lid to the cup is just "press fit" in, which doesn't work great. It's a throw-away spray gun. It works fine for what it is.

If you manage to get a good one dont take it for granted(as l did) they are not all created equal.
Well the first one of these that i ordered was great! and would probably still be in service had l not neglected it overnight after spraying some polyurethane. But l thought for $15 they were disposablely priced. So l quickly ordered 2more unfortunately neither of the replacements were of the same quality they both leak from the pivot pointbetween cup and gun the first one was a terrible experience because ,with a full cup ,l overtightened the wing nut in a unsucessful attempt to get it to stop dripping on my workpiece to the point of breaking the nut and well l spent hours cleaning up the resulting mess. As you might imagine l am terribly dissapointed with this product all the more so because l didnt take better care of the one in three that seemed to have been well made😩👎

Gun worked great, needs to be cleaned before 1st use
Gun worked great, needs to be cleaned before 1st use. For $15 it was great, not as nice as a sata but they are also $800 not $15.

This has worked great for me so far
This has worked great for me so far. I've only used it with latex paint which I had to water down by about 25% to get a nice even spray. I'm no expert, this is my first gun, but I've painted a few pieces of old furniture with it and am very pleased with the results.

Very pleased!
This is the first time I've used a spray gun and I absolutely love it. I had 23 kitchen cabinet panels to poly front and back, 4 times each, and this spray gun saved me so much time! I did brush the fronts one time, just to get a thick coat on - but I'm imagine that if I'd played with the controls a little more before I started, that step may have been unnecessary. As other reviewers stated, I cleaned the gun with a little acetone before using and likewise I cleaned it after every use. Functioned consistently each time used.

My wife got so frusterated with this product we chucked it in the trash
I bought this based on reviews and price point, but regretted it shortly after using it. We had only used it for 5 minutes or so and realized it was going to take significantly longer to paint than expected. We were painting a china hutch and it literally took all day because this sprayer was so slow and worked so poorly. My wife got so frustrated with it, we threw it away after she "felt like she wasted her whole day" using this sprayer. It is easy to use, but the spray quality is terrible, even with a large rolling air compressor it sprays very lightly and requires MULITIPLE coats to finish. It requires cleaning the nozzle many times because it gets clogged often. We used this product along with a filter and other recommend products and it didn't make a difference.Would recommend looking somewhere else unfortunately.

Sweet for the Price
Great for a $20 gun. I was going to paint my boat with rollers and brushes, then found this (reuseable) for the same price of those items (disposables). The paint hopper is adjustable which came in very handy! My paint job (2nd coat of oil-based rustoleum - thinned with acetone and added hardener) is looking pretty awesome. Way better than a roller could have done.Cons:Air fitting isn't for a standard air compressor (only $3 at the hardware store)Air pressure regulator knob should gave a wider adjustment rangePros:Cheap (Cheaper than rollers/brushes)Easy to useComes in Red!!!Arrived quicklyPaint hopper (about two cups) is the perfect size for novices who need to take it slow and take refill breaks
