(AquaFibe) ProFibe 454 g Powder

First, I will give the bad point. The flavoring is supposed to be vanilla, but it is so mild that I can barely taste it. Now, I will give the good points. It mixes well with lukewarm water if you add a little at a time. It is not too thick, so it is easy to swallow. It can be mixed with a variety of fruit juices if you prefer a different flavor. Lastly, I think it has helped me lower my cholesterol. I was taking Lipitor and added ProFibe to my diet. Since then, my total cholesterol has dropped to 77. I am happy with my results , so I will continue to take it. Also, your results could depend on how many times per day that you drink it. I personally go with ProFibe's recommended three doses per day.

Not a great taste,but that's not what you buy it for.One of the best sources of soluble fiber you can buy.Excellent for keeping arteries clean.You will feel better.Much better stools is a good bonus also.I add a little orange flavored Metamucil to the mix for taste.A high quality fiber product.

Good flavor. Does not mix well just by stirring. It mixes good if I put it in just water in a water bottle and shake. It mixes great in a mixer. This did help lower my cholesterol. However, 4 stars since there is soy in this. I never quit having gas while taking this (4 canisters). To be honest, I feel that the sellers here need to show the label contents for this reason. Soy has that reaction for me no matter what soy I eat. Yes, I did work my way up to full dose. If it was not for the soy I would still be taking this. I respect the research done on the citrus pectin and have faith that it works but the other citrus pectin products are too expensive for me to use so I opted for this. I assume that if I did the math I would find that the soy is a filler and the real amount of CP in it would amount to the same amount and price as the pure stuff.

if you have been working to keep your colestoral levels in the normal range and you have been following all the rules, eliminate saturated fats, trans fats,reduced polyunsaterated fats, regular or even vigorous exercise routine and taken your statins and you still cant get your colestoral down,try this stuff.its not very costly, it was recomened by my doctor and she took me off my statin meds because my labs came back reporting my lipids were significantly below normal levels. hdls elevated.triglyerides very low,ldl very low. i love this product so much that when my nueralogist saw my lab reports before and after profibe he odered some for himself! this stuff works and works well.

I was told by a long practicing old school Physician, that this is a must have in a healthy diet, I cannot swear on the fact it lowers Cholesterol, I hear it does, and I hope it does. But according to the Doctor it will act as a sponge and absorb all the impurities in your "system" and then dispose of them !!!

I used to buy this product on a regular basis as it helps to lower cholesterol & clean the 'sludge' out of my veins. It used to mix well in water with a simple stir....but that has changed. It now just remains a big mass of lumps in the glass & is VERY POOR at dissolving. I'm not willing to break out the blender each time I want to take this stuff. My guess is that there is way too much soy powder being used in this product, and too little grapefruit fiber which nullifies the purpose in the first place. I WON'T be buying this product again.

My cholesterol levels were high, but I really didn't want to go on statins after my mother had problems taking them. This is my first experience with a fiber drink and thought the taste and texture were excellent. The texture is smooth and creamy when drinking it and the flavor reminds me of a lemon cookie. I did enhance the flavor with a drop of lemon essential oil after noticing the slight flavor.
