This was great for an antique high chair that does not have the modern safety straps. There are three straps that wrap around a chair (could work in a standard dining chair also) and a “seat” section for his legs so he can’t slide forward. There are shoulder straps similar to what you would have in a car seat. He was 5 months old, 14 pounds when he started using it.

It’s so compact it rolls up so nice to fit in a diaper bag. We’ve taken it to over 12 countries. We’ve used it on barstools with back rests on different dining room chair. We have used it in plenty of Airbnb‘s as well as restaurants . If you’re traveling with a little it is fabulous. It’s also machine washable just throw it in a laundry bag because it does have a piece of Velcro on it so it doesn’t ruin your clothes. It also dries pretty quick if your air drying it.

I like the thought of the product and being able to supposedly use on the go. This is very light weight and easy to buckle and unbuckle. The bottom the the seat where the babies legs come out is connected to the bottom strap which makes it very hard to figure how tight to put the strap. Also, when using on different chairs, it’s not all that easy to put on and making sure the baby is in tight enough before falling out or slouching down.

We just got back from our first vacation with our one year old and this was a life saver!! It’s so easy to set up, easy to roll back on for travel, and my son loved sitting at the tables with us instead of in his highchair away from the table like at home. I love the convenience, how small it folds up and how easy it cleans. I highly recommend this product for on the go with littles. You’ll be thankful you bought one!!

It can be a little tricky getting started, but it's great in a pinch if you're out and about and need to stray your kid into a chair that doesn't have high chairs. It's not very sturdy so if your kid can't sit up on their own it can be a bit awkward, but I'd say around 8months this is perfect until they can sit next to you or in a chair.
