You can't hear anything with a sheet of this.
I bought a sheet of this to stuff inside my spacebar, and my TOFU60 chassis to dampen the noise/pinging. It sticks well, and a sheet of this fits perfectly inside the smaller cutout in the chassis. Cutting it is easy and simple, it's pliable and squishy so you can easily get it into places to get a good seal. The adhesive isn't strong or sticky, but once it sticks on it sits there firmly. But one single sheet of this is enough for a TOFU60, or any larger chassis. Just do a rough cut to get it inside the chassis, then you can use a specialized tool like a X-ACTO blade to trim the pieces and make it nice and even, and to cut out holes for the cutouts.Besides that, I am happy with the dampened noise and it works well for what it is. I'm planning on using the spare sorbothane leftovers for other projects that need dampening!

I use this for sound dampening in my custom keyboards
So while my use-case is probably not typical for what this product is meant for, it works great for my purposes. One rating was for adhesion and I wasn’t sure how to answer. I wish it wasn’t so damn sticky but I guess that’s a characteristics that people want when using this for its intended purpose. Sound dampening works great and gives my keyboards that perfect “thock” sound. Thickness is great too because its still thin enough to fit below the PCB in the case. I’ve used the duro70 or duro40 in all 6 of my boards so far and I haven’t had any fitting issues. So all-in-all, I think it works great, for my purposes at least.

A nice mecanical Thunk
I used this to line the inside of my very loud when bottoming out mechanical keyboard (yes i know I'm a bad typist) and it's improved the sound quite a bit taking most of the twang and hollowness away. Now its a we bit quieter and much deeper more satisfying tone where I mostly hear the keys rather than it reverberating through the chassis.

What sounds?
Bought this to place inside my Drop ALT barebones kit. Using zilent v2 switches. I could still hear the aluminum case pinging with every key stroke. After installing this no more metallic pinging noises. Unless your ear is right in the case lol. Easy to work with material. A tip for anyone who is cutting it. I got a sharp hobby knife to cut it at first. But honestly a good pair is scissors works better. If your looking for sound damping a keyboard. This is it.

Superior Isolation Material
sorbothane continues to be my go-to isolation material to reduce vibrations for camera mounts, etc.

Great Noise Dampener
Sheet was packaged very well. Overall very easy to cut. I used this to fill my keyboard case for that signature thocky sound

really nice
Added a layer of these into my gk61x wooden keyboard case. Added a good amount of weight to it and made the sound a lot more dampened as well.

Check your tolerances
It feels nice and heavy and I’m confident it will do exactly what I need it to do.one issue, the product is not the stated: .10” with a tolerance of +- .015”. My sheet is .12” verified with a micrometer. This is a problem for me because I’m working with very tight tolerances and I needed this to be as precise as it stated in the description.
