Very good quality, no assembly needed, it’s exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this in September 2019 to make my office feel like a separate room from my bedroom (when it's really just a desk in the corner). It's June 2020 now, and I'm so happy with the purchase!Looks great: the design is neutral but not boring. It goes really well with the grays and browns in my apartment. We sometimes put the screen in the living room too, to make it into a guest room, and it looks like it's meant to be there too. There's clearly a finished side and an unfinished side but even the unfinished side looks fine. I use it in the background of video meetings.Lets light through: Hides clutter and provides some privacy without blocking light.Very flexible: The 6 panels mean you can configure the screen in a variety of ways. You do have to be careful to not make it too straight, or it will fall over, but it other than that, it works in many different shapes. It's very lightweight and easy to move from room to room.Sturdy: Despite my best efforts, I've knocked it over maybe ten times. The screen material hasn't torn, and the wood is still intact. The hinges are all still fine too. I'm pretty impressed!

The six panel version of this product was on sale at the same price as the four panel version. I wasn't sure if it would be more than I wanted and take up too much space but figured I could always take off any extra panels that I did not need. The quality of the product is better than I expected... and I still know I will need to be careful to not damage the product in the sometimes haste I find myself in. The extra panels really work for me. I have created a semi circle behind where I sit at my desk as a background for when I am using Skype and other video software. I love the spaciousness. I have no fears of the panel falling in this configuration. The hinges are double hinged so that each panel can be folded in either direction. Bright light does easily shine through the panels. There is up to a 1/4" gap between some of the panels. The product came fully assembled. It's light enough for me to handle on my own moving to where I want to put it and folding it up when I don't want to use it.

UPDATE: Here's a good way to prevent floor scuffs or scratches. Purchased  3/4" Dia 16 Pack Heavy Duty Felt Nail-on Slider Glide Pads for Chairs, Stools . These press easily into slits at the bottom of each panel.* * *I needed something to provide privacy for my French doors without blocking the light, and this turned out to be an attractive solution. The gray goes nicely with the trim around the doors. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a lightweight screen, and priced accordingly. The screen arrived undamaged; however, there is defect in one of the wood double cross designs where it appears to have split during manufacture. Because I saved a lot purchasing a warehouse deal, I decided to keep. I may eventually just remove the one panel.

This shoji screen is beautiful when I first got it. It's been one month but I'm starting to see wider opening at the wood side panels in between the brackets. Were the wood rails presssure treated to prevent warping or shrinking, maybe not? Anyway, it still functions great a room divider for my guests in the Livingroom. FYI - Don't let the dog come too close to the fabric portion of the openings -- claws have already torn into it and I've had to patch the fabric with tape and glue. I now wish I had order the rattan shoji screen instead.

I paid about $52 and couldn’t imagine paying more. I like it, but it just isn’t worth the full price around $200. There are minor flaws in the paint and the hinges are wobbly.Also the description was deceptive, it’s not that tall.

Ordered to hide ugly utilities in basement ..Affordable attractive solution

Purchased the 6 panels in gold for home office/ privacy use. The color is dark gold, so very neutral. Free-stands on rug/carpet just fine. Feels sturdy enough, although if you have large, energetic dogs or super active kids- you might want to stabilize with something. Large enough to screen behind me for privacy- and light and maneuverable enough to close and put out of the way when not in use. LOVE IT.

Really an ugly product. Shocking for the money paid. Am returning and will not buy from this seller again.

Oriental Furniture 6-Feet Double Cross Japanese Shoji Folding Privacy Screen , 3 Panel Gold. Gorgeous and well made. The paper is unblemished, sturdy and durable. The wood is straight, not warped. The frame is painted a dark gold. It 's perfect. I place it around one corner at the end of the bed. It just completes the space and adds tranquility and the white, slightly translucent paper backing adds a sense of airiness.
