Excellent product for protecting face from the sun
Please note I am not paid/or gifted the item to review.This was a god send I travelled around vietnam and I am very sensitive to the sun on my face.I'm aged 35 and very fashion conscious. Once I got over the little bow peep style I wore it every day.Shades a large sized area.I was cynical about the spf claim.I presume it's the stiff fabric inside the rim that makes it just more than a hat.It did the trick and I would highly recommend it.I wore it to sunbathe and being softer fabric at the back meant it was very comfortable.

Stylish and good protection
This hat is stylish and offers good protection from the sun. I love the way it reaches deep down the neck and onto the shoulders. One of the best hats I've had in a long time. I find it's a little large (and I don't think I have a particularly small head) and It isn't adjustable, so I'm going to need to add some kind of padding to make it a better fit, but that's a small complaint overall for what really is a lovelly hat.

Not impressed - quality and design issues
There is nothing special about this hat aprat from the fact that it's foldable. But,so are many other hats on the market. The quality isn't great at all and the hat itself is not very well designed. When I tried it on, the awkwardly positoned chin straps were rubbing against my chins and ears, the back of the brim is badly designed - too flimsy and don't provide enough protection to the neck area.The hat is made of 100 % cotton and it's very unlikely it would provide a proper protection in case of longer exposure to the UVA + UVB light.

Not quite ‘foldable”
Its a good fit but unfortunately it isn’t ‘foldable’ least not the way it was folded for delivery. The brim is made of plastic, nothing wrong with that, but as it was folded down the middle of the brim I’ve had to warm it up to try to get the kink out of it. Slow process but I think it’s working. Other than that it’s OK

Practical not pretty.
While not the most attractive of hats it does the job. I wanted a hat to take on holiday that could be folded with wide brim. This hat does that. Nice wide brim, keeps sun off. Some hats can make your head really hot in my opinion. This hat keeps it cool. Might buy another , diff shape. Defo would recommend.

I love this hat so much! It's perfect. Covers your whole face and neck and it’s stylish too. I wore it walking the Camino and didn’t get sunburnt on my face and neck at all!!

Perfect for my Purpose
I love this. It is really pretty. It was tough choosing a colour because there were so many options. It fits very well. I love the fact that it covers the back of the neck and that it is cotton. A bit pricey compared to my other hats though. If I can afford it, I shall get a second colour.

Quick modification for a small head and it's perfect protection for gardening.
This is a well-made hat which offers good protection for eyes and face. The chin strap is also very useful and necessary with wide-brims.The hat I received was labelled 57cms, larger than advertised at 56-58cms. It has a one inch Petersham band inside, so it's possible to reduce the size by lining the band. (I tacked in a strip of foam-and-felt table-protector which does the job nicely, reducing the size to about 55cms.) Shame it's not adjustable – hence it's lost one star.The bow removes easily if you're thinking of trimming the hat some other way.
