Fool me once...
I purchased these CFL's a couple of months ago, and they're already not performing. It takes approximately five minutes for them to fully light from very dim when turned on. After paying almost $9 apiece, I'm pretty upset! Cheapie Phillips incandescents perform much better than this...and at 1/10th the cost! Feeling pretty had here.

It Really Works!
Just got this in the mail today and right away I took out my old bulb and put this one in. My old one was similar with same wattage but without the air purifying ion and this puts out brighter whiter light and it really cleans the air! We are smokers, about 3-1/2 to 4 packs a day in the household but I allow smoking only in the living room which is where I put this bulb. Usually you can see the smoke floating in the air but that cloud is now gone! It didn't take long either. The air quality in this room is much better! I'm gonna get another one soon to put in the stove hood which we keep on 24/7. We also have 2 cats & a small dog. I'm sure visitors will notice a huge difference :)

getting used to the blue cast of the light; not sure if the bulbs are working or not but since they were comparable in price to the other bulbs I am giving them a try.

burned out within seconds
The light was working when we screwed it in, but after turning the switch off and on again, the light bulb burned out within a few seconds.

Great, but not perfect
the light level is supposed to be equal to a 60 watt light bulb, however it doesn't quite reach that level. Otherwise it pulled a good 90% of the dust out of the air when I dust the room, so that feature works very well.
