I bought this to put in my gun closet, on a wall for hanging firearms. It worked great! I love the way it looks, so much better than pegboard (which is what I thought of at first). I'll get many years of use from this. I cut mine in 1/2 and mounted 1/2 of it on one wall and 1/2 on the other.

too expensive for the quality

I had some concerns about the possible appearance and sturdiness of these when I ordered them, but those concerns were unjustified. It was very easy to install. While it is clear it is made of plastic, it does not look cheap. I think the heaviest item I use it for is about 5 pounds, which it holds without problem. Unless you are going to use it for heavy items, I recommend this as a great, cheaper and lighter alternative to regular slatwall.

We ordered this for our garage gym and it is perfect for housing all of our accessories which we used to haphazardly and messily throw into a basket on the floor. Now everything is neat, organized and easily accessible. My husband was able to install it with ease. It definitely makes a nice addition to our garage gym. Should we ever need to expand our existing storage we will definitely purchase this again.

This stuff is made of very thin PVC. If you are planning to hang anything more than a few pounds from this, don't waiste your money. Buy some real wood slatwall.

... but not great either, I bought three sets to display lightweight pegged items in my store and it works just fine for that. But I'd have a hard time imagining someone hanging heavy tools on them or putting heavy things on shelves as the hard plastic they're made of is only about an 1/8" thick. (In their defense, they don't show any pictures of heavy things hanging on them.) The only major problem I had was that they turn the retail boxes inside out and tape them back together again for shipping. The ends aren't taped very well and one of the trim pieces got bent pretty badly, one of the little guide things the helps you align the slats was missing from one box and the bag of screws was missing from another.
