Not noisy but value for money
Value for money doorbell that is a standard chime, does what it needs to. Ony suitable if you have a small house as the doorbell is not very loud.

Compact but not so loud
Bought this item as a replacement.The chime was selected as it is more compact than that which it replaced and did not disappoint in its appearance.The sound is produced mechanically and thus owing to its compact nature the output is somewhat muted which could be problematic to some.If its limited sound level can be accommodated then this chime does represent extremely good value for money

Has a nice ding dong noise
It goes ding dong when someone presses the doorbell. That's about it. The kit is pretty basic, the chime is small enough, but I found you could wire it up incorrectly and it took a few tries to get it to go ding dong. It's not that loud either, if you have a medium to large house buy two and wire them up in parallel!

Too quiet keep missing deliveries
Don't waste your money, it's okay quality but just too quiet. I've looked over the spec and it claims a 80db at 1 meter. Normal conversation is about 70db. So sitting in a living room, with doors closed and the television on you'll not hear anything.It's annoying as I will have to buy something else, so I've wasted my money... Poor product fails for a normal household. Save your cash and buy something better!!

Poor instructions
The tenor of most of the other reviews is correct. It is quiet and sometimes it does not ring at all. The instructions are useless - telling you that you need a screwdriver, hammer, drill etc to install it, but not telling you how to wire it up. The diagram shows how to wire one bell push, but not how to wire a second one, nor how to wire the battery pack. Excellent Value.
The chimes are fine. The bell is absolutely a bargain. Buy 2!

Basic solid value
Basic unit simple to fit, mechanical chime gives a 70's retro feel, no electronic musical chimes hear, which I like.
