Great value for the money
I'm using it for reamp and works wonderfully. Meet my expectations in terms of build and sound. Totally recommended for reamp use.

Great for looper-mixer-amp setup
Using to step down hot signal from looper so that a guitar amp can be used as mixer monitor. Worked perfectly out of box, has 2 ins and outs, both 1/4 and XLR, and no 9v power needed...nice features for the price

Don't record guitar at home (or in a studio) without a reamp box!
I have a bedroom studio in my home, but I take my recordings seriously. I want the best sound I can get on my limited budget. I have several guitar amps that I can choose from to record, but if I am smart, I will use this reamp and direct box to give me the option to change the sound later. Recording a dry guitar track along with the amp allows a lot of flexibility when it comes time to mix. If I discover that I used too much distortion or reverb, I can send the signal through this device back to the amp and adjust the FX, gain, etc. to get it right the second time. It saves so much time as opposed to trying to play the part and get the performance the exact same as the take I decided to use. I love ART equipment. I own several of their devices and they are a great value for the money.

confusing
Works well as a di. But trying to reamp a guitar signal from my daw into vox ac30cc i blew up a channel in my interface. sooo don’t know if that was me or if the box is just a glorified di box. in any case in works best as a di.

The Swiss knife of audio connections boxes.
This works as a:1-stereo DI box (impedance matching)2-audio splitter3-re-amping device4-level matcherIt's solid, sounds great and is eminently affordable. So if you're looking for any of these things for your studio or live gig, you should definitely consider the Dual RDB.

The only DI you'll ever need
This thing is essentially the ultimate DI\reamp box. It's stereo, has both XLR and quarter inch ins AND outs, a level adjustment for each channel, and just to cap it all off they printed the block diagram on the bottom. This makes every other DI irrelevant.

great for mixer to keyboard amp
bought to allow monitor sends from a pro mixer to keyboard amp unbalanced intrument inputs. It works great for that, it brings down the gain a little more than I would want, but is totally the solution. No hum, no super twitchy volume knob reaction due to mismatched impedence.

Don't expect any OEM support.
I purchased this item to reamp a guitar signal from a mixer into an amp (Guitar > Mixer > ART Dual RDB > Amp). Though it seems to do what it claims, there does seem to be a noticeable difference in the tone when routed this way vs. directly into the amp, particularly in the lower frequencies. I can't say for certain that it's the fault of the ART Dual RDB or some other component in the chain, but I did try to contact ART about this issue via their website and ask a question about my setup and never received a reply. I also sent them an email a couple of days after that to ask a question about a different issue I was experiencing (turned out to be unrelated to the ART Dual RDB itself), but again, no reply. So, 3 stars for a product that seems to work as advertised, but basically no product support.
