Half price for this mic? Worth every pound I paid for
A friend recommended it and I will say it's absolutely a stunning mic, its 4 different features of voice areas are too good, and the tap-to-mute function is something I tend to use while on calls. The Weight of the mic is decent not too heavy or too light, the volume control of the mic does the job well except if you change it via the mic the Ngunity app doesn't change so remember that. It's so easy to setup and the functionality is something I was looking forward to. The best thing is the price which costs £160 Quid I got it for a whooping £75.49 about half the price and It's the best for such a mic. One thing is its RGB customization through the app Is fantastic just some more features for the app would be great otherwise this mic is a 10/10 for me.

High Quality Microphone
I bought this microphone last year but am only now getting around to writing a review. Overall, this microphone is of excellent quality, the audio sounds crips and clear. One of its standout features is the adjustable audio input setting, controlled by a dial on the back, which helps minimise background noise. The microphone feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap or overly lightweight, you can easily change the stand out as well. Additionally, you can easily change the colour of the microphone with the HyperX NGenuity software, and it's not too difficult to understand. One downside I’ve noticed is that, on Windows 11, the microphone automatically switches on when certain apps are opened. And people can occasionally also hear my mouse clicks or typing on the keyboard (despite adjusting the dial) but that is about it. No issues so far with the audio quality however! 5/5If your microphone sounds too quiet even after you've changed the dial, go to the (Windows) Settings > System > Sounds and scroll down to Input and increase the volume there.

Great Microphone, but……….
I’ve wanted to get this microphone for such a long time, & I finally got one today. I tested out the audio quality on Streamlabs & the sound is really good, the ability to customise the lights on the Mic is really cool, but the one issue I have with the mic is that Cardioid mode still picks up sound from the other side of the microphone, which I was expecting for it to only pick up my voice & that’s it, & after adding some filters through Streamlabs, I finally got the microphone to work & I love it. It isn’t perfect but I love it

Outstanding Microphone for Streaming and Content Creation
The HyperX QuadCast is an exceptional standalone microphone that’s perfect for streamers, podcasters, and content creators alike. Its sleek design, complete with the integrated shock mount and adjustable stand, adds a professional touch to any setup. The sound quality is top-notch, offering clear, crisp audio with minimal background noise. It features four polar patterns—stereo, omnidirectional, cardioid, and bidirectional—giving you the flexibility to use it for different recording needs, from solo streaming to group discussions. The cardioid mode, in particular, works brilliantly for isolating your voice. One of the standout features is the tap-to-mute sensor with an LED indicator, making it easy to prevent accidental audio mishaps during live streams. The gain control knob is conveniently placed, allowing on-the-fly adjustments without hassle.Setup is effortless, as it’s plug-and-play with both PC and consoles, and it’s compatible with major platforms like Discord and OBS. The microphone also comes with a detachable pop filter, which effectively minimizes plosives.Overall, the HyperX QuadCast combines style, functionality, and superior performance at a reasonable price point. It’s a great investment for anyone looking to upgrade their audio quality. Highly recommended!

Solid construction and performance for the price point
I've always loved HyperX products, I have a 7 year old Hyperx Cloud II headset that's still going strong even though the leather is starting to flake off. HyperX construction always feels premium with the brushed metal, soft leather, accent stitched thread, etc and their microphone line follows that same trend. The Quadcast is much bigger and heavier than I expected it to be based on the listing photos. It feels sturdy in the hands. Nothing feels cheap, not even the soft coated plastic parts. It looks sleek, even for a gaming mic. I don't care for the black and red or RGB aesthetic, but HyperX does a good job of toning it down while still making it marketable to that specific crowd. I bought a pop filter that blocks out 90% of the red LED which unfortunately can't be turned off, although it serves the purpose of letting you know that the mic is on and active so it's not all bad. I would recommend a pop filter, although the Quadcast has one built in, it was still picking up some pops from about 7-8 inches from my mouth. Pop filter eliminates it entirely. I also bought a boom arm, the Quadcast's shock stand wasn't able to filter out impact noise from my wood desk, could just be the size and density of my desk and not specifically the stand's fault, but again the boom arm eliminates that issue entirely. As far as performance, I was upgrading from my Hyperx Cloud II mic which has always been subpar so it was a significant difference, all of my friends mentioned it within seconds of hearing me talk on the Quadcast, saying I sounded really clear, like I was "in their head", or like I was on a podcast. This was with no finetuning, now I use the SteelSeries Sonar program for the ClearCast AI noise cancelling, it filters out my keyboard taps and background noise better than Discord's Krispy and also carries over into in-game recordings, Krispy obviously cannot. Also love the mute function. Gentle tap on the end of the mic works every time, super responsive. It's a great mic, I don't think you'll find anything better for the price, this is it. I've already gotten some of my friends to buy it because they were so blown away by how much better and clearer I sound. If you've been considering making the switch from a headset mic, I'd say look no further. You will not be disappointed with this mic.
