FARAON Nacho Cheese, 106 Ounce

This is a good nacho cheese that tastes similar to what you get from many stadium concession stands. That is good, because at least you have an expectation of what it will taste like. I had to throw out a whole large can of another brand (which many rated highly) that was just awful because it didn't melt no matter how hot it got, tasted strongly of black pepper, and had no heat. I like the plastic lids on these and reuse them for lots of things, like refried beans that I also put on my nachos sometimes. I also like the Rosarita nacho cheese, but Amazon is only selling them in 6 six packs of large 8 lb cans right now and I can't find it locally. Amazon - I don't want 40 lbs of nacho cheese in my pantry. Anyway, I'll stick with Faraon for the foreseeable future. It really is very good and also very convenient. It's just a tad pricey compared to larger cans.

It tastes like actual cheese and it has a jalapeno pepper flavor in it which I like. I use this for dipping tostito chips but I mostly use it for dipping taquitos which are rolled up tacos. Each can has a plastic lid which you can cover back up if you wanna save some for later. Any leftover cheese should be put in the refrigerator. If it's in the fridge for more than a week, it will lose it's thickness and will turn watery. However even if it's like water, you can still eat it as it doesn't spoil easily. One time I kept a can in the fridge for a couple of weeks, it was still good.

Remember going to the movie theater in the mall in the 80s? Remember that plastic tray of tortilla chips covered in fake orange cheese sauce topped with spicy jalapenos? THIS is that sauce! They would never give you enough cheese at the movie theater, but now you can make your own at home! Yum! Two thumbs up!

Faraon Nacho Cheese sauce makes nacho night easy. By the time I've browned the meat, heated the beans, and diced the onions and tomatoes, I don't feel like creating a cheese sauce from scratch. This canned sauce is quite good and has just the right amount of spiciness, not bland yet not too hot. For a family of four, we use about 1 and a half cans of sauce. The lid comes in handy for refrigerating the left over 1/2 can, which is then used on omelets the next morning.

Best-quality, bulk nacho cheese I've tried so far. I prefer this form-factor over the sometimes-available, larger, 108oz cans, as these keep longer. And the great bonus of this 12-pack, is that you also get 12 reusable plastic lids, which exactly fit standard, canned soup/bean/veggies tin cans, which is great for fridge leftovers!

I'm usually a little picky when it comes to cheese. I'm not a huge fan of cheap and oily cheese but I got to say this cheese is really good.It's creamy and not oily, got a good flavor and a good spice to it.I just added some to my Baked potato tonight to spice it up since i didn't have any Shredded cheese to go on it and turned our really well.Will be buying this again when i run out.I also like the Idea it came with a lid so once it's opened you can close it up with a lid and put in the fridge.

These came in a 12 pack - cardboard base, plastic on top. Looked fine, until I took the cans out of the box and found 8 of the 12 cans had big dents in them - they'd been packaged with the dents facing inwards. This is deceitful. Sauce itself is definitely spicy and tastes pretty good.

these came with plastic lids that fit the tops of the tin.This was an excellent idea as I rarely will use all o fthis immediately.The flavour is very nice as well!
