Really ARE +0.00 (no correction) on top half! High quality..
Hard to find (by description anyway) any progressive readers with NO correction on top-half -- these DO have that feature. Though claimed to be women's, the size is pretty large; altogether adequate for man's face - and OK if you don't mind a slightly purple-ish tortoise-shell coloring (rather wild!). Lens alignment marks a bit more pronounced than I'm used to, but my optician says ALL lenses have these marks molded-in (out-of-line-of-sight), just that these are less subtle than most. Not affecting vision. Frames appear very good quality, exposed metal extends both sides of hinge, nearly a inch back on temple-pieces, and a bent L-shape metal part 1/4" across onto frame-front. Very rigid; should be rugged. Folds quite flat. High-quality lenses; not at all "blurry" or distorted. BUT: No anti-reflective coating, thus driving, I do get extra tail-light 1/8 brightness floating about 5° above actual tail-light, most noticeable at night. (I just take 'em off, my distance vision is fine, as per the +0.00 upper... ) Altogether PLEASED; very good for the price! (this review is for color C-6, up +0.0, down +1.50 - the ones currently available for $18.00 with Prime)

Both pleased and displeased
I like everything about these glasses, BUT I was expecting them to have spring hinges—as advertised, and they do not. I’ll try to use them, but they would fit better and be more comfortable with the spring hinges I was expecting—as described in Seller’s write-up. Sellers shoul not promise things they're not going to deliver. The type of hinge is important, because that’s how comfortably they fit your head.

Multifocal or No Line Bifocals? Love them - but they're not for everybody
When you buy these you are specifying magnification at the top and bottom. I don't know if they "progress" between the two but these work far better for me than my $400+ progressives or the Foster Grant Multifocus brand. I wore them to a meetup I regularly attend and had several women try them - it seems as long as your eyes don't require a really strong prescription these work fine. I have "old eyes" (need close up xxx) and a slight astigmatism. I've been wearing these daily for about 3 weeks now and plan on ordering more. They also seem to do a better job than the Foster Grants when looking at a computer screen - I switch to cheaters when working on the computer but these are fine for quick stuff.

I am in LOVE with these glasses!
These glasses are adorable and good quality. They are comfortable and it is so nice to be able to see both the TV and my phone at the same time without removing my readers. I totally recommend. If I had to complain I would say that the etching of letters on the side of the lenses is a little odd but not really a problem for vision. You can tell it is there though. For the price they are a steal!

Work well - except the writing on the lens
I started wearing these yesterday. I had Lasik and do not need correction for distance. Was using traditional "readers" but had to keep taking them on and off while handling cases (looking up at people, then, looking back at paperwork). These work so much better. I find that I put them on at the beginning of the day and rarely take them off. Works well as much of my life revolves around computer, paper, and glancing up to talk to people. Only downside - and reason for the missing star - There are small letters/circles on the lens. While these do not affect the vision, not sure why they are there.

Etching in each lense
Great glasses except on each lense there is a stamp etched into them...R1...L1 and small circles on each side of the lenses where the bifocal begins.

Very Pleased!
Just got these today. I did notice the etching in the lens that others noted, but it doesn't seem to interfere with my vision, although I would prefer not to have the etching. Overall though, I am very impressed with the quality of the frames, they seem very well made. The color is not too wild, it is purple, but I love purple so for me it's fine.. My most recent eye exam came out with practically no need for correction on top, but I need readers to read just about anything close. I was so tired of taking readers off and on, this seems to be the answer. With these I can see clearly at a distance, and reading is just about as good as full readers. Just ordered prescription glasses that cost more than 10x as much. Would definitely recommend these! UPDATE: While I am still happy with these, I have noticed a slight magnification in the upper part of the lens. I thought there would be no magnification whatsoever on top.

Visible Etching on lenses ruins what would have been a great pair of glasses
I was so disappointed that these glasses have the LH, RH etching so visible on the glass. If not for that etching I would have kept the product and likely have given it 5 stars. They are attractive, comfortable and seemed to be a good value But the idea of buying non prescription cheaper glasses is to NOT look cheaper and ridiculous with that visible etching.
