Very easy to use and store. Pieces can get slightly disheveled when rolled up but easy to fix when opened back up. Attracts lint easy (especially pet hair) but a simple lint roller cleans it right up. Plenty of space for a 500 piece puzzle with room on sides for sorting pieces.

It came with a ballon to fill up and roll over it so you can store it, but with the time, the ballon lost the air.

If you are on a table or hardwood floor, then I’m sure this isn’t too bad. On carpet, it’s not that great. The issue my kids kept running into is that their puzzle pieces kept sticking to the felt of the mat. Also, the mat is also very thin, so it tends to want to bunch up. Personally, I’d say get a rubber mat instead. The material is subpar and way too thin.

I purchased this to accommodate a rather large jigsaw puzzle I got for Christmas. I wasn't hoping for a lot, but didn't want to pay $40+ for a nicer mat. Unfortunately, if I had realized what this "mat" actually was, I wouldn't have purchased it.The mat itself is a large piece of cheap black felt fabric a bit nicer than the kind you buy in sheets from the craft store for a quarter. It has no backing, no structure or stability, nothing. It is literally a large, floppy piece of fabric which will need to be ironed to remove creases from shipping. There is no grip or nonslip coating, hems, or a rim/ridge to keep the pieces from falling off. The "storage" function is literally rolling the fabric around an inflatable tube and securing it with bands.You could achieve the same results literally by buying a half yard or yard of felt or fleece from your local craft store and wrapping it around a dollar store pool noodle cut down to size. This would allow you to pick custom colors and size it to whatever dimensions you'd like. If you don't require the puzzle to roll up for storage a large cheap corkboard might be another good choice that would cost a similar amount as this $15 sheet of felt.
