Two Injectable Enriched Malt Extract Agar Dish for Mushroom Cultivation for use with Mycelium Liquid Culture and Spore Syringes

These injectable agar dishes are perfect for use with liquid culture and spore syringes. Simply order a culture from a supplier (we don't offer them at the moment) swab a bit of alcohol on the injection port, flame the needle, inject each dish, and wait for the mycelium to colonize the agar. (You will want to clean up your work area before you begin- wipe down your workspace with Lysol wipes, spray disinfectant in the air, and wash your hands thoroughly.) Made with Enriched Malt Extract Agar - "Malt Extract Agar media contains an optimized mixture of agar, organic malt extract, organic locust bean gum and organic yeast extract." This is a great solution for testing spore syringes before going to grain. It is common for spore syringes to come contaminated, this is the simplest way to know if your culture is viable. These dishes have twice the amount of nutrient agar as our regular petri dishes.
