Marvellous Maps ST&G's Great British Place Names

Bought this for my father in law for Christmas! He loved it and had a good giggle on christmas day! He has a motorhome and likes to use the old fashioned maps instead of sat nav! So this was right up his street! Fun, good quality and value for money!

Bought as present for my son in law. After years of driving round uk we have all seen those funny named places that make us all giggle. This map shows the extent of ‘funny’ names and gives explanations and history of how some came about. Ideal to look at prior to going on a trip to see if you can find the actual places. Keeps the children occupied.

Great buy

I bought this for the husband of a friend who is always tricky to buy for. Absolutely delighted and much hilarity during our dinner party. He is so happy with it, he is going to get it framed. Lovely touch over leaf where there is a route card for you to fill out. Would absolutely recommend.

Great gift for any long distance driver

This map provides many examples of interesting town names. It's a BIG map when unfolded all the way but there are locations identified all over the map and not just in one or two areas. Very informative.
